President: Jessica Harris

Hi I’m Jessica, a 4th year vet student. I have been a member of SB riding club since first year, taking part in lessons, competitions, hacks and the riding holiday! My favourite discipline is dressage and I enjoy training my horse Nikita when I am home. I was the president last year and before that general secretary. I am really looking forward to continuing being your president this year and being able to get in person activities back up and running, having planned some exciting lessons and activities for the year ahead and expanding the club. As well as sharing my passion for all things equestrian, I hope to get members new and old involved with all aspects of the club no matter their ability.

Treasurer: Robyn Turner

Hey! I’m Robyn, a fourth year vet student. I’ve been a member of the riding club since first year. I don’t ride much with the club, but I absolutely love the hacks and competitions! I regularly get out and about with my horse, Styles, to do a bit of everything. I’m looking forward to working with Jess and the others to make club activities more accessible and get as many people involved as possible :)

Social Sec: Lizzie Thacker

Hey! I’m Lizzie and I’ll be taking over as your social Sec for the next year. I’ve got plenty of ideas for a wide range of socials, so hopefully there’ll be something for everyone. I’m so excited to get to know our members a little better and for you to all have a great year with the club. I think we can all agree that we’ve got some catching up to do, so let's get cracking!

Sinead King

I’m Sinead a 3rd year agriculture and livestock science student. I have been riding 13 years and currently have a horse on loan in Nottingham and hoping to get out showjumping some time soon!

Fundraising Coordinator: Lucy Morrison

Hi, I’m Lucy a third year veterinary student. I have been a member of the riding club for the past 2 years, getting involved with lessons, competitions and horseball. I’m currently teaching my horse to play horseball! I’m really looking forward to supporting equine charities this year with fun competitions and fundraising ideas so we can give back to those that need it!

Engage Coordinator: Ellie Miller

Hi, I’m Ellie, an April second year vet student. I have played horseball for the last year and can’t wait to get more people involved in all that SB riding has to offer!

Horseball Captain: Georgia Savill

Hi I’m Georgia, a 4th year vet student. I have been a member of the riding club for the past 2 years, getting involved with lessons, competitions and horseball. I’m regularly out eventing and am planning to teach my event horse how to play horseball! I’m really looking forward to being captain this year and getting to know all the returning players better, as well as introducing more people to horseball.

Horseball Vice Captain: Maddie Southern

Hi, I’m Maddie, a third year vet student. Before I came to Nottingham, I was involved in retaining ex racehorses and producing them for riding/pony club. I really miss having a horse and I always look forward to my horseball sessions! This year I want to get as many people involved in horseball as I can, both in the saddle and on the ground at socials. Outside of riding I am a really keen seamstress and I love experimenting in the kitchen!

April Horseball Captain: Leanne Black

Hi, I'm Leanne, a first year April vet student. I love the adrenaline side of horse riding and horseball has me hooked! I can’t wait to get to know everyone and get some more students involved in the sport!

April Coordinator: Helena Ivey

Hi my name’s Helena and I’m a second year vet student from the April cohort. I’ve been a member of the riding club for the past two years and have adored getting involved with lessons, horseball and socials. I love riding and am a member of my local pony club back home, I also have a job close to uni working with some super cute highland ponies! I am looking forward to welcoming as many of you as possible to the club!

April Vice Coordinator: Holly Roberts

Hi all! I’m Holly, a second year April student. I’ve been in the riding club for both years at university so far and have loved getting involved with all the activities we plan. I had my pony with me last year at university who I learnt to play horseball on and also took part in some jumping competitions. I am so excited to represent the April cohort and get everyone involved in loads of socials and activities!
