Competitions
Show Jumping
​
Classes include: 50cm, 60cm, 70cm and 80cm.
Team SJ: we regularly compete against main campus riding club aswell as other universities such as Loughborough.
One leg will be held at Long Lane and the other at the competing teams home stables.

We also have some show jumping clinics arranged this year with Richard Seal at Long Lane for more advanced riders.
Dressage
Dressage tests are held for all abilities so will include Walk & Trot tests (prelim), intro and Novice.
Sometimes these will be combined with SJ and arena eventing to give a collabarative score.
Arena Eventing
Arena eventing consists of show jumps aswell as solid and cross country style fences alongside a dressage competition. We run two classes, one for intermediates and one for advanced riders.

We run a compulsory training session before the competition to allow riders chance to practice this style of fence and riding on their chosen horse.
Mounted Games
At Halloween, Christmas & Easter we run mounted games, consisting of lots of different races in the school.
There are usually 4 teams of 6 people with 3 horses to each team.
These are friendly competitions and are always a great laugh!
